Healing the Healers March KAP Group 3/8-9

KetaMaine Institute is offering monthly KAP groups for those in healing professions who would like to try Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. KAP groups can mitigate compassion fatigue and burnout, support deep personal healing, help uncover new meaning and inspiration and connect with a community of like minded professionals. The groups are comprised of 6-8 participants and the 3 facilitators listed below.

Cost: $700 (deposit of $350 is due upon admission to the group)

Dylan McKenney, MD
Dylan McKenney, MD

Dr. Dylan McKenney is the founder and medical director of KetaMaine Institute. He is a psychiatrist with board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry.  He has a deep commitment to exploring innovative approaches to mental health treatment. His journey in this field has been profoundly enriched by his specialized training in psychedelic therapies at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). This experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the therapeutic potential of psychedelics in transforming mental health care.

In addition to his psychedelic training, Dr. McKenney has had the privilege of studying under renowned experts in the field of ketamine therapy. He completed his ketamine training with Dr. Phil Wolfson and Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk at the Ketamine Training Center. This rigorous program provided him with the skills and insights necessary to effectively integrate ketamine-assisted psychotherapy into his practice, offering patients new avenues for healing and personal growth.

Dr. McKenney's work is driven by a passion for combining traditional psychiatric methods with cutting-edge treatments to provide holistic and individualized care. He is committed to staying at the forefront of psychiatric innovation, continually learning and adapting to offer his patients the most effective and compassionate care possible.

Dori Hart, LCPC

Dori Hart is an accomplished IFS and KAP psychotherapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and groups in her private practice located in Portland, ME. With a profound interest in the healing potential of non-ordinary states and a commitment to fostering community, Dori completed the Ketamine Training Center’s experiential training program in 2024, under the guidance of esteemed experts Dr. Phil Wolfson and Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk.

Dori skillfully integrates breath work, sound healing, meditation, and spirituality into her therapeutic approach, offering a holistic path for clients to explore their innate capacity for healing, transformation, and open-hearted living. Her practice is rooted in the belief that every individual has the potential for profound personal growth and wellness.

 

Kathryn Smith, MA
Kathryn Smith, MA

Katie serves as Practice Manager and Psychedelic Technician, known for her foundational belief in the immense capacity for healing that lies within each individual. Her work is centered around guiding individuals through transformative processes that foster personal growth and spiritual insight. Katie is committed to helping others build a stronger relationship with themselves, tapping into their inner healing intelligence.

With a background in holistic healing modalities and traditional Chinese medicine, she brings a comprehensive and integrative approach to her practice. Her passion for human potential in health and healing is both a personal and professional calling, and she holds the transformation and growth of those she works with in high regard.

Katie is deeply invested in advancing her understanding of the intersection between psychedelics, indigenous reciprocity, and attachment theory. These areas of interest underscore her dedication to exploring how these powerful modalities can deepen healing and support personal growth in profound and meaningful ways.
